eWeLink User Guide

This user guide is available for all eWeLink supported devices.

Down and Install eWeLink

Please download and install the APP eWeLink from Apple APP Store or Google Play. Or scan below QR code to download.


Register a New Account

1.Enter your email address or phone number. Asian users currently must register by phone number.


2.Enter password (at least 8 characters)


3.Send verification code to your email box or phone.


Add Devices

First of all, let your device enter into WiFi pairing state. Before adding a device, Android phone must open WiFi.

Different device has different way to enter into pairing state, following devices all have a button (Sonoff, Sonoff RF, Sonoff SV, Sonoff TH10, Sonoff TH16, Slampher, Sonoff Dual, Sonoff Pow, 1 chnl Inching/self-locking switch, Motor clockwise/anti-clockwise running switch, 4 chnl switch) , press and hold it until the green led fast blinking.

Tap “+” to add device.
1. After the led fast blinks, for Android user, please click next.
For iOS user, please go to phone Setting>WiFi>connect the WiFi begins with ITEAD-*****, enter default password 12345678. Then go back to eWeLink.
2. It will auto-search the device.
3. Enter your home/office WiFi SSID and password.
Note:Your SSID should be letters/numbers. If no password, keep it blank.The device can be only added to the 2.4G-wifi-router.)
4. Register the device and added successfully.
5. Name your device, complete!

433MHz Remote Control(for devices with RF module)

The devices have RF function support to paired with most of 433MHz remote controllers.


Paring: Fast press the button twice,the red LED blinks,then press one of the buttons of your RF controller to set paring for 1/2 second.


Cleaning: Fast press the button three times,the red LED on for 3 seconds,that means the RF controller code has been cleaned.

eWeLink Functions

1. Remote turn on/off and view device state
Turn on/off on APP. Device state will simultaneous display.

2. Schedule timing and countdown timing
The schedule timing includes single and repeat timing schedule. Countdown timing allows you to turn on/off device after a preset time. Each device supports max 8 timing tasks. Preset timers can work even WiFi is unavailable, but the device must keep power on.

3. One-key sharing
Device owner can share the device to others, thus others can turn on/off your device.
While sharing device, both should stay on eWeLink. Because if the account you want to share is not online, he will not receive the invitation message.

4. Scene management
You can set different scene for your devices. A scene is set up to auto-execute an action for all devices in the same Scene. Some devices support 3 action in scene: on, off, keep. Some devices scene support 2 action in scene: on, off.

5. Smart scene
A smart scene can is set up to use TH device(Sonoff TH, Sonoff TH10, Sonoff TH16, S22) to trigger temperature condition to turn on/off other devices on your account. Currently, you can use Sonoff TH to collect temperature and set smart scene to turn on/off several types switch. For example, set a Smart Scene named Warehouse, once the temp. is higher than 35℃, the Sonoff switch that controls the watering system will auto-turn on to cool down the warehouse.

6. Group management
If you have too many devices, you may group them. Tap on the top “All Device” to expand the group information. Click”Manage Group”, you can set up different group for your devices.

1. My WiFi is expired, can I connect the devices to LAN? Can my phone be directly connected to device hotspot?

Answers: Currently eWeLink do not support LAN or directly connect to deceive hotspot. All devices must be connected to router, thus they can communicate with the Internet cloud server

2. Why I failed to receive SMS verification code? Why my phone failed to connect device?

Answers: Most possibly it is about the APP authority being restricted. If there is any pop-up authority inquiries, please always choose allow.

3. My device has added successfully, but stays offline.

Answers: The new added device need 1-2 min to connect to your router and the Internet. If it stay offline for long time, please judge the problem by the green led status.:

3.1. Green led quickly blinks one time and repeats, which means device failed to connect to router. The reason may be you have entered wrong WiFi password or your device is too far away from router, which causes a weak WiFi signal. The device can not be added to the 5G-wifi-router,only the 2.4G-wifi is OK. At last, make sure that your router is MAC-open.

3.2. Green led slowly blinks one time and repeats, which means device has connected to router and server, but failed to be added to device list. Then close the APP and open again, if it still not working, just delete the device and add again.

3.3. Green led quickly blinks twice and repeats, this means the device has connected to router but failed to connect to server. Then please confirm your WiFi router works normally.

4. The green led keeps off, even if the device is powered on. Press the button but the relay does not work.

Answers: The circuit may be broken, please send it back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging will be at buyer’s expense.,if the device is damaged by the buyer, and the buyer should bear extra repair cost.
